I have two friends who learned Japanese last year. I think it would be fun to practice with them! I went to Japan last year with one of those two friends and she was very helpful in communicating with people in Japanese. It was really weird to be in a country where I didn't understand the language at all, especially since I had gone to Japan right after completing a Korean language immersion program in Korea. I went from practicing and understanding one foreign language to straight up not understanding anything at all in another foreign language. It would be nice to someday go back to Japan and actually speak Japanese there! I like reading manga and listening to Japanese music, so I'd like to be able to better interact with that culture. I am also really interested in learning kanji! It's a challenge I've never attempted before. I'm excited to start! >:3c
